The committee welcomes you to the Australian Historic Telephone Society Web Site!

The AHTS is one of two societies operating in Australia today and welcomes anyone with an interest in communications. Our growing membership base of around one hundred and seventy is spread across Australia and the World. The society is based in Melbourne where a majority of members reside. There is also a Sub Branch of the society meeting in Perth.

The society meets bi-monthly starting February of each year and a bi-monthly newsletter is also produced catering for the needs of communications enthusiasts.

We engender interest by having discussions at meetings on history of telephony, repair and restoration techniques as well as displays/buy/sell/swap.

Those with any interest in communications are welcome to join the society and will find the quality of content in our newsletter alone a good reason to be a member.
